England to begin

Heya Loyal Fans... although it doesn't look like alot of people are reading this yet!!! Well, I am in England, after the most brutal flight/sickness I have ever had. I had the excorcist's heaves all day Monday(the day I left), and even had to pull over and make use of the side of the road a bit before I could make it onto the airplane. The flight itself wasn't that bad I guess, but my body was worn out. We got to heathrow and managed to find Barry & Sandra without too much of a problem... only half hour of looking for them hehe. They are awesome hosts, feeding us, putting us up and even playing tour guide :) The first spot we went was Chichester Cathedral, built in 1076 originally, and it was all I expected. Not the most oppulent of cathedrals, but gives me a good base for seeing more. I have pics, but no time at the moment to play around with the downloading, so you have to wait. Flying out to Bonn, Germany today, and making our way to Czech Republic (my sister lives there) by Monday. Will update within a week for sure. Anyway folks, hopes this keeps you entertained for a few days ;)

So moves,

Any problems or comments for the Grotto should be directed to a dark place, or if you really must, daiunus@yahoo.ca

Hey bro
Looking forward to your visit here and trying to plan things!!
Hope your flight to germany goes better than the one to London.
What things are on your list to see in the Czech Rep.?
Love Lisa

Wow, you're really getting around, arn't you? Good to hear. Those overseas flights can be a real ordeal. During my France trip, the jet lag caused us to arrive in the morning, and most of us hadn't gotten any sleep. It was a 36 hour day or so. The last part of it was mostly a dream. Kind of a neat experience, actually. Sort of like a natural drug..

Anyways, I digress. Glad to hear you made it safely, and are moving forward with your plans. Have fun with your sis and everyone else. Keep us updated!

HEY PETER!
GLAD TO HEAR THAT YOU MADE IT OVER THERE SAFE AND SOUND- BUT NOT GLAD TO HEAR YOU'VE BEEN SICK. YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY-THERE'S NO REST FOR THE WICKED! HA!HA!
CHICHESTER CASTLE-COULDN'T YOU FIND SOMETHING A LITTLE OLDER?????1076-THAT IS REALLY AMAZING AND ONLY ONE OF MANY THAT YOU WILL BE SEEING IN YOUR TRAVELS. I'M SURE THAT BONN, GERMANY WILL BE INTERESTING. OUR NEIGHBOUR IS FROM BERLIN-AND HIM AMD HIS WIFE WENT TO GERMANY FOR A VISIT MANY YEARS AGO AND SHOWED US PICTURES OF ONE OF THE CASTLES THEY VISITED.THEY HAD TO WALK UP HUNDREDS OF STAIRS TO GET TO IT- BUT IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND THEY STILL TALK ABOUT IT. I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT TIME WITH YOUR SISTER AND TOMAS-THEY WILL PROBABLY HAVE LOTS PLANNED. YOU MIGHT EVEN BE ABLE TO CATCH A HOCKEY GAME! BROOKE IS PLAYING SOCCER TONIGHT-IT WILL BE STRANGE NOT TO HAVE YOU THERE. YOUR PARENTS WERE GOING TO COME BUT IT IS A LATE GAME SO THEY WILL WAIT FOR ANOTHER ONE.WE REALLY ENJOYED HAVING YOU ALL OVER FOR BREAKFAST BEFORE YOU LEFT. IT WAS A REALLY NICE MORNING.
WELL,I'D BETTER GET GOING-TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND HAVE A GREAT TIME IN EUROPE. WE WILL KEEP UP TO DATE ON YOUR TRAVELS.
CHEERS!PETER RANDY AND DEBBIE XOXO

Hi Peter!

It was great to see you for brunch, too bad we didn't have more time. We appreciated you exposing yourself to the cold rink to watch Emily's Ringette game. We're glad you are feeling better and enjoying your journey of a lifetime. Looking forward to your next update. Love Debbie, Tom, Kyle & Emily xoxo
